Overview
Pied-à-Terre;
French for "foot on the ground"; an apartment in a big city ... a place to get away.
We love to say it in our best, really awful French accent. OoooLaLa!

• One-bedroom lower-level basement apartment.
• Tuft & Needle queen bed + sofa bed
• 20 minutes to the airport, 10 to downtown.
• Explore our neighborhood of Overlook to shop, drink, eat & people watch
• Nearby Neighborhoods: Alberta Arts, Mississippi, Williams & Killingsworth
• 2 blocks-MAX light rail

#airbnbforeveryone

Some of what our guests have said:

• Parking; plenty of free on-street parking. All Hours / All Days

We like to welcome each guest to Portland and we enjoy meeting with those guests that wish to socialize … if so, let us know. Otherwise feel free to enjoy this private space.

We live upstairs and may be available in person and always via phone or message.

We love Overlook! The most connected spot in NoPo; our neighborhood seems quiet and … well, like a neighborhood … but within a few blocks are restaurants, shops, parks, transportation … probably most of what you'd need. Anything you don’t have can be gathered easily locally:
• New Seasons (gourmet grocery)
• Cherry Sprout, our cool organic market
• Fred Meyer, our big/full-service grocery/home store

Food and restaurants and bars and coffee are not in short supply ... where to start? At last count there were 25 bars, coffee shops and restaurants up to a 15 minute walk.

Add to that block after block of:
•Alberta Arts District and
•N. Williams
•N. Mississippi
•Kenton neighborhoods...just to name a few.

After eating all of the amazing food Portland has to offer you’ll want to get out and burn some calories.
•Bike with Nike’s BikeTown 2 blocks away.

Portland offers lots to do other than dodging the occasional rain drop.
There are:
•arts & crafts,
•Oregon Coast,

We think our little slice of Portland has just about everything.

We have a Little Free Library just steps away that you can feel free to borrow from or lend to and on occasion we'll even share our little dog, pSally Draper.

Anything else you need, just ask and we can probably help make it happen.

Excitedly planning your next trip? We’d love for you to stay with us.

Thanks, Pamela

Hi there.
I've been airbnb-ing for a while now and am still delighted when someone searches out my spot. I'm a superhost and I also co-host for friends and neighbors.

I've been in Portland for over 20 years. I'm from Los Angeles, then San Francisco and now Portland is home.

I love to eat, to cook, to entertain and sometimes to just loaf around.

I’m excited about the prospect of meeting new people and hearing about your adventures in Portland; if you want to share.

Come ... relax, walk, eat, drink and breath in a little of the beauty and charm that is Portland.
