Overview
"Speedy" a modern retro vintage style trailer with modern amenities. Parked in the center of Desert Sands Vintage Trailer Park bordering Anza Borrego State Park, est. in 1960 and is the oldest RV park in Borrego Springs which has mostly vintage trailers, some of the best landscaping for miles, breathtaking views, epic sunsets, bright starry nights and happy guests. Just open your door and hike. Amazing sunrise and sunsets and out of this world star gazing. This place is heaven on earth!!

If this vintage trailer is booked please look at my other vintage trailers listed on Airbnb all on the same property.

COLD A/C FOR THE SUMMER MONTHS + NICE HEATED POOL AND JACUZZI

This trailer has a double kitchen sink , large memory foam mattress, toilet, shower, bathroom sink. If you find the tiny bathroom/shower combo too cramped, there are nice hot public showers and bathrooms 10 feet from your trailer. Included are dishes, plates, cutlery, kettle, toaster, wine glasses, bowls, mugs, bath and swim towels, all bedding, coffee, tea, heater, blow dryer and a couple other surprise snacks.

This trailer is close to the pool, restrooms, showers, Jacuzzi, laundry room and Tiki Hut which has wifi which may reach the trailer too. The trailer has spectacular views of the mountains from the bedroom and kitchen. Even though to the untrained eye the desert looks dry and desolate, once you spend a night in the middle of it all you may hear the howl of a coyote in the distance, in the morning you might wake up to the sounds of different kinds of birds, while sitting outside drinking your morning coffee you'll see rabbits, humming birds, lizards etc. Besides the regular bedding on the bed we have put an extra blanket in the closet if you feel a little chilly but with the heater you should be fine.

Right next to your trailer is the Tiki Hut which has a bar, fridge, sink, propane burner and skillets if you choose not to use "Speedy's" kitchen. It also has wifi which will reach your trailer.

Once you make your reservations I will send you check in instructions.

I live in San Diego but get the the vintage trailer park about two days a week. Feel free to contact me with any questions at all

Desert Sands RV Park is just a stroll to Anza Borrego State Park, the largest in the state , art and culture, restaurants, bars and dining, great views, and the rustic artsy town of Borrego Springs that doesn't even have a traffic light or any big chain stores. There are numerous golf resorts within a 5 mile radius. The state park visitors center is just up the street with an interactive museum that shows how life was in the area millions of years ago. Its a must see!! There are hundreds of miles of hiking, mountain biking, road biking, off roading close by, mountain views, and points of interest.

The drive into town is roughly one mile away. You can walk, drive or you can bring your bicycles and start exploring. Behind the RV park is a small mountain where you can take a morning stroll to the top and capture some beautiful images with your camera. The RV park borders Anza Borrego State Park.

The vintage trailer park is a very quiet quaint park.

Borrego Springs is a dark sky community meaning there are no bright white lights and people use deep orange lights on homes and buildings so that the stars and moon can shine as bright as possible.

Regarding amenities:-

* The laundry is located at the center of the park and takes quarters.

* The pool and Jacuzzi are located at the center of the park. Reach over to the inside lever to open pool gate.

* The public showers and bathrooms are at the center of the park.

Hi and thanks for checking out my profile. I was born on South Africa and moved to San Diego in 1986. Me and my family own a rustic furniture import business in San Diego. I have a passion for vintage trailers, Harley motorcycles, exercising, building high powered custom electric bicycles to order and most of all me and my Fiance love traveling and taking road trips in our Sprinter van and small travel trailer. When the kids have gone off to college in a few years our plan is to travel full time between Alaska and Mexico. Recently we took a three week road trip to Cabo San Lucas and back which was amazing. Ever since I was a kid I always wanted to be in the hospitality business and specifically a bed and breakfast so I guess this is my start. If you decide to book with me I will go out of my way to insure you have a pleasurable time and I will be available 24/7 via phone, text and email with any questions or concerns you may have.

I have a few listings so if one does not work out please take a look at my other ones.

Thank you for stopping by
