Overview
Located inside a stunning rustic vintage trailer park"Tabby" is a tear drop trailer for two adults and maybe a small child. There is a sink, stove and small fridge. The dinette folds down to make a large bed for two. Cool flip out windows and ceiling fan for ventilation. Bathroom, shower and laundry are located at the center of the trailer park. The RV park is located on the edge of the open desert bordering Anza Borrego State Park with spectacular views of the open desert.

Please read my reviews and the kind words guests have written about this location.

If this trailer is booked I have multiple listings in the same vintage trailer park

This trailer sits on a shared space with another trailer. The fire pit and seating area is shared with the trailer on the same space.

Desert Sands Vintage Trailer Park est. in 1960 and is the oldest RV park in Borrego Springs which has mostly vintage trailers, some of the best landscaping for miles, breathtaking views, epic sunsets, bright starry nights and happy guests. If you've ever wanted to stay in a cool vintage trailer park, this is heaven. The pool is warm year round. Borrego Springs has warm sunny weather year round so if you love the outdoors you will enjoy staying here. We have guests that have been coming back for years.

Located at the center of the vintage trailer park is the pool, Jacuzzi, laundry room and Tiki hut. The trailer has 2 large windows and has a very airy feeling with spectacular views of the mountains. Even though to the untrained eye the desert looks dry and desolate, once you spend a night in the middle of it all you may hear the howl of a coyote in the distance, in the morning you might wake up to the sounds of different kinds of birds, while sitting outside drinking your morning coffee you'll see rabbits, humming birds, lizards etc. Tabby sits on a space close to another trailer and shares a fireplace and seating area.

Once you complete you reservation I will send you checkin instructions and directions inside the trailer park

I live in San Diego and try get to the vintage trailer park 2 days a week but if Im not there I will be available on phone, text and email. I have some neighbors that help out when Im not there.

Desert Sands RV Park is just a stroll to Anza Borrego State Park, the largest in the state , art and culture, restaurants, bars and dining, great views, and the rustic artsy town of Borrego Springs that doesn't even have a traffic light or any big chain stores. There are numerous golf resorts within a 5 mile radius. The state park visitors center is just up the street with an interactive museum that shows how life was in the area millions of years ago. Its a must see!! There are hundreds of miles of hiking, mountain biking, road biking, off roading close by, mountain views, and points of interest.

The drive into town is roughly one mile away. You can walk, drive or you can bring your bicycles and start exploring. Behind the RV park is the open desert and a small mountain where you can take a morning stroll to the top and capture some beautiful images with your camera. The RV park borders Anza Borrego State Park.

The vintage trailer park is a very quiet quaint park. PLEASE no horsing around. Other guests of the park must not be bothered by noise, partying, loud talking or shouting. If you do bring minors (we want you to bring them) please know that this RV park has full time renters that are accustomed to a very quite place which is the reason they rent in this RV park. Me and Tammy have teenage kids that love coming out there as much as possible.

Borrego Springs is a dark sky community meaning there are no bright white lights and people use deep orange lights on homes and buildings so that the stars and moon can shine as bright as possible.

We live in San Diego 78 miles away and try get to the vintage trailer park as much as I can because I love it so much out there. If you need me please feel free to contact me otherwise I have neighbors in the trailer park that help when needed.

Keep in mind that we love having kids and infants, the trailer has not been child proofed so we ask that you keep an eye on them ;-)

During the warmer months its best to lay by the pool in the shade because Tabby has no AC but there is a ceiling vent to extract the warm air.

We want to earn your 5 star review so if there is anything you need during your stay please let us know and if we can help you out we will try my best to accommodate you.

Hi and thanks for checking out my profile. I was born on South Africa and moved to San Diego in 1986. Me and my family own a rustic furniture import business in San Diego. I have a passion for vintage trailers, Harley motorcycles, exercising, building high powered custom electric bicycles to order and most of all me and my Fiance love traveling and taking road trips in our Sprinter van and small travel trailer. When the kids have gone off to college in a few years our plan is to travel full time between Alaska and Mexico. Recently we took a three week road trip to Cabo San Lucas and back which was amazing. Ever since I was a kid I always wanted to be in the hospitality business and specifically a bed and breakfast so I guess this is my start. If you decide to book with me I will go out of my way to insure you have a pleasurable time and I will be available 24/7 via phone, text and email with any questions or concerns you may have.

I have a few listings so if one does not work out please take a look at my other ones.

Thank you for stopping by
