Overview
This traditional cottage is perfect for a young family who love to have fun on the beach, swim in a clean lake or play games on a large, level lot. The location is very private, although you may see your neighbours out on the water or on their docks.
It is a friendly community surrounded by crown land with ATV and hiking trails right in your backyard. If fishing is your passion, there’s trout in the lake just waiting for your bate!
You are sure to enjoy this all one level cottage which includes a delightful screened sunroom for morning coffee and quiet reading or you can step outside onto the deck where there is a gazebo, lounging furniture and a patio table for al fresco dining. You will not be short of comfort and space.
The cottage is neatly laid out with the living, dining and kitchen across the waterside with sliding doors onto the deck. A screened sunroom offers a comfortable spot to enjoy the outside from the inside, read, or play games, while a gazebo on the deck has comfortable furniture for sitting out of the sun.
Little Esson Lake is a smaller lake just 5 minutes from the village of Wilberforce, the geocaching capital of Ontario. If you don’t know what that is, you can pop into Agnew’s General Store and while they explain it to you, you can enjoy some Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream.
Smaller lakes bring big rewards. With just 26 cottages on this lake, it is less populated than most, the boats are smaller and it rarely lends itself to jet-boat-noise resulting in a tranquil and peaceful vacation. This coupled with a flat lot and no steps to a sand beach, there’s little more perfect than that!

We are a friendly, family oriented rental agency here in Ontario. We can't wait to match up our gorgeous cottages to families and small groups who share our love of cottage country. We've personally visited every property (it's a tough job, but someone has to do it!), and can share our thoughts on whether it's the right one for your group. All our cottages are privately owned by people who want to share their little piece of paradise with their guests. We make sure they have all the bells and whistles you need to make a great vacation, and ensure each cottage meets our standards - and your expectations. Composition of Parties and Age Limits
We primarily provide family holidays and it is our policy not to accept bookings from groups of young people under the age of 25 and some groups comprising all-adults. This policy is not intended to be discriminatory, but is merely to protect our cottage owners' interests and to meet the requirements of their rental insurance policies.

Payment Policy
Reservations shall be confirmed in writing by the Agency on payment of a deposit and applicable booking fee by credit card or cheque.
Receipt of any deposit prior to the Agency's written confirmation of the reservation shall not constitute acceptance of any booking.
The balance shall be payable 45 days prior to the commencement of the vacation by cheque, money order or email money transfer.
Where the Rental Period commences within 45 days of the reservation, or is less than a week in duration, full payment is required on booking.
All payments shall be made to the Agency by credit card, cheque, money order or email money transfer. (Visa or Mastercard only)
Once a reservation is received and accepted by The Agent, The Guest is liable for payment of the balance of the rental fee, plus any additional charges, 45 days before occupation of the property. Non-payment by the due date will be treated as a cancellation and the deposit will be forfeited.

Refundable Damage Deposit
The Lead Guest agrees to provide a valid credit card number as a guarantee for up to $1,500:
To pay all outstanding long distance phone charges, overage on WiFi usage in excess of the stated limits, and accept any and all liability for any damage beyond normal wear and tear (for those items not covered by the Accidental Damage Protection Plan) during the term of the Rental Period.
