Overview
Embrace the unique character and romance of this historic California apartment. Lush velvet furnishings, rustic Spanish architecture and a delightful original kitchen make this apartment the perfect place for a memorable southern California getaway.

The apartment is nestled in the historic Wilmore City district of Downtown Long Beach. Just one mile from the Convention Center, and a short walk to the Metro Blue Line station and city bus stops. Grab a 10 minute Uber to the beach or Pike Outlets!

The home measures at just over 1000 Sq ft, featuring a well-sized master bedroom and a small, but cozy second bedroom. The large living room can also be easily transformed into another sleeping space by accessing the queen sized, cabinet murphy bed.

The kitchen boasts much of its original charm! However, you will also have brand new large and small appliances, cookware and dinnerware. The dining area is small but quaint and resembles a miniature café with bar style seating for four.

There are two air conditioning units in the apartment, a portable one in the living room and a window unit in the master bedroom..

The entire apartment is available for our guests.

We live nearby and are available via Airbnb messaging if you need anything during your stay.

Located in the historic Wilmore City district, you will be right next to all that Downtown Long Beach has to offer. You will have easy access to the Convention Center, the beach, shops and restaurants. Conveniently located within walking distance of the Metro Blue Line, and Long Beach Transit bus lines.

Located right off the 710 freeway, just 30 minutes from both Disneyland and Downtown Los Angeles in light traffic. If you plan to stay in the city and want to avoid parking challenges, then public transit, Uber and Lyft will allow you to easily visit any of our nearby attractions!

Staying here will put you in the middle of everything!

Business travelers:
You will be on the north end of Downtown Long Beach. The convention center and Long Beach airport are minutes away. You will also be nestled right between both Los Angeles and Orange County, so you get the best of both worlds!

Vacationers:
You are right near the beach! You'll find running paths, biking, restaurants, museums, shopping, boating, nightlife or a quick trip to Catalina Island. We are also centrally located to all Southern California's famous theme parks.

There is no off-street parking for our building, but free street parking is available. If you ever have an issue finding street parking you can use our garage parking, free of charge! Just let us know if you plan on driving and we will send you the access information after booking.

As with any beach city or downtown area, you may have to search awhile for a spot on the street and walk a few blocks, especially as it gets later in the day. Please check signs for street sweeping schedule to avoid a ticket.

I have been a member of the wonderful Airbnb community and for a few years now. I love traveling with my husband and two boys and having the chance to meet new people from different backgrounds. Being welcomed into their homes and seeing the world through their eyes is an amazing experience. I became a host myself almost by accident, and I wouldn't trade it for the world!

I have always said that if given the chance I would go anywhere. So far I have been to 12 US states and 9 different countries. I guess I have a long way to go!

My goal as an Airbnb host is to respect our guests' privacy, while assisting them in having an unforgettable vacation! I sincerely hope you feel at home at our place as I'm sure I would at yours. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you have make your stay memorable.

- Since this is an apartment, we are surrounded by neighbors. Please be respectful of their homes and keep the noise level low. - Absolutely no parties, events or gatherings without the host's prior consent. No more than 4 people are allowed inside the unit at any time. We charge $100 per person, per booked night for any additional overnight guest that is not included on the reservation. - Sleeping on the sofa is not permitted. Please use the 3 available beds only. - Guests are not allowed on the roof of the building under any circumstances, it is private property that is not owned nor managed by the host. Accessing the area can be unsafe due to lack of railings. Host is not responsible for any incidents that may occur by accessing the space. - Children are not permitted on the staircase behind the building due to the steep incline. We strongly advise only using the back staircase when absolutely necessary. Guests agree to use the handrail and use safety precautions when doing so. -Exterior cameras are monitored to ensure accurate guest counts. - Please treat our place kindly and clean up after yourself. We do ask that you remove your shoes and try to keep the space in similar condition to which you found it. - Our cleaners are very busy with multiple turnovers each day. We charge $20 for each 20 minutes, to our guests that checkout late without prior approval. - For guests who stay with us for 10 nights or more, weekly cleaning is required. We will send you a seperate request for payment of the additional cleaning fee(s) after your reservation has been made. This will be invoiced at a weekly rate of $60 per week. If you have a preference for what date(s) or time you prefer the cleaning to take place we will do our best to accommodate you based on our cleaning schedule. - Wash your dishes and put your trash in the bin. Turn off the air conditioner, heater, ceiling fans and inside lights before you leave. - Upon checking out, please place used towels, and bathmat in the laundry baskets which are located inside the laundry room. - Please be mindful of bed sheets and towels. Makeup/foundation, face medications/creams, and tanning products will stain and/or bleach linens/towels. We provide grey washcloths to remove makeup and white washcloths for bleaching products. Housekeeping will wash all laundry. Unsalvageable linens/bath towels will be charged to the guest. - No smoking, vaping or e-cigarettes allowed on the property (either indoors or in the entry way). Please feel free to partake in these activities on the sidewalk off of the property. -No candles or or any other open flames permitted at anytime. We do provide flameless candles on the property. - In the event that the property is left especially or abnormally messy, an excess cleaning fee in the amount of $100 will be charged to the guest. - Accidents happen. If you do happen to stain or break something during your stay, please notify us immediately via the Airbnb message system. We almost always have guests checking in and out on the same day. By notifying us in advance of any damages, we will be able to make sure the home is in proper order for the following guest. - Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am. However, regardless of the time, please keep noise to a minimum and be respectful of our neighbors. - ***The host/owner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The homeowner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.***
